What the fashion industry really thinks of the Off-White™ impresario.

Virgil Abloh is everywhere. Whether you know it or not, you’ve seen the bold stripes of Virgil’s Off-White™ logo. You’ll have seen them on the backs of everyone from 13 year olds to fashion’s elite, worn by influencers and editors. On the runway during Paris Fashion Week. On the streets of New York, where he lifted the lines from the city’s crossways.
His rise to ubiquity has been fast. But then Virgil is always switched-on, communicating via every channel, collaborating across industries, including music (as a DJ and the creative director for Kanye West), fashion, furniture, and sportswear.
But what is Virgil Abloh? We put the question to the fashion industry to find out, asking the likes of Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri, Imran Amed of Business of Fashion, and models, buyers, and stylists.
