This season, System travels to each Fashion Week city with some of the best-known names in the industry to see firsthand how they spend the day during the most important (and busiest) time of year.
First up, Isabella Burely in New York….
5:30 am
Matcha in bed.
Woke up because I’m jet-lagged as hell. Made matcha and worked in bed (which is my favourite thing to do).
8:00 am
Refuelling post-Pilates with more matcha and green juice.
Did a Pilates class; the ones in New York are so hardcore, I love.
12:00 pm
The Conor Ives show.
Went to the Connor Ives show, which was the most fun show ever! Saw so many fab people: Lynette Nylander, Becky Akinyode, Lara Worthington.
Lara Worthington being the cutest.
My friend Yohana Lebasi walked the show and killed it. She was so fab! Hari Nef, Osman Ahmed, Terrence O’Connor all walked too.
Hari Nef brings back shame.
12:45 pm
Dara and Cruz.
Spotted supermodels Dara and Cruz escaping the show. No pictures!!
1:00 pm
Yohanna and Osman at Monkey Bar.
We went to Monkey Bar to celebrate Yohanna’s runway debut! Had the best French fries and Niçoise salad.
2:00 pm
Happy Birthday Climax!
It’s Climax’s 6-year birthday today and 2 years of having the NYC store! So we had a fun celebration at the store. It was so busy and so many friends popped by.
4:00 pm
Gita at Climax Books.
Gita, our favourite NYC girl and Climax muse, came by the store and tried on our new varsity tee. She is the best!
6:30 pm
Mosquito bite legs.
On my way to Bar Oliver to meet a friend for a drink! Tried to look cute, but my legs are covered in mosquito bites.
